Lazy Saturdays

We love lazy Saturdays at the house. Mostly because they are few and far between. This last Saturday was one of those days. We decided to walk to the construction site near our neighborhood.

This is how Jack started the walk:

Then he saw all the construction equipment:

Needless to say, we had a blast.

Then my brother and his kids dropped by. Gianna and Jack picked up pecans and ate them in the front yard while Ben and Isaac had fun in the kitchen.

Wrapping Up

The BrickFare was a lot of fun. Jack struggled a bit since we threw a monkey wrench in his sleep/eat schedule, but he has done remarkably well. I leave you with some final pics from the show, featuring mostly the Tennessee Valley Lego Train Club.

Like Father Like Son

Pete was picking out his pick-a-brick and placing them in his cups when I turned around and Jack had found, gotten down, and was filling his own pick-a-brick cup!

Looking Back On 2011

2011 was a hard but blessed year. From March through December, here was our year.

Enjoying Bridgestreet with the Schusters.

Easter Sunday

Our family!

Jackson's first recital.

We told Jack he could look, but not touch! This was at the Madison Street Festival.

Giddy up horsey! As Jackson likes to say! This was at Tate Farms.

Riding the cow train at Lyon Family Farms.

My sweet little Jedi!

Well, that is a very abbreviated version of our year. To finish off this post I will leave you with a picture of Jack and his favorite Auntie Tracy!
