Savannah

For our 7th anniversary, we spent some time in Savannah, Georgia. Jack handled the 8 hour drive pretty well and was ready to go exploring the next day:

On the recommendation of, well just about everybody, we made a trip to Mrs. Wilkes boarding house for lunch while we were there. The line formed quick, but we made it in the first wave fortunately. It was here that we learned Jack has a taste for banana pudding. A true Campbell!

Exploring the city. Factor's Walk, formerly home to the city's cotton trade.

The riverfront.

These guys (and many more) saw a little activity...

since Savannah has the second busiest port on the eastern seaboard.

Tybee Island lighthouse, it's still an active aid to navigation.

Mug shot on the beach at Tybee Island.

Jack is introduced to the joys of dirt and grass! It helps to have some water handy to wash down all that grass...

He also learned about swings...

and slides!

Savannah is one of my most favorite places to visit! It is gorgeous! The pictures were great. Jack is getting so big (and cuter all the time). I love the family picture and the one of him on the swing. I love reading your blog and seeing what your family is up to :)
