Jack received his first official piece of mail yesterday! At first, I thought it was just another Social Security update for me or Laura, projecting what we'll be drawing in retirement assuming the well doesn't run dry. On second look though, we noticed it was addressed to Jackson Riley Campbell. Our little buddy's in the system now with his own Social Security number! Let the credit card offers start rolling in...
In other Jack news, there's thankfully not much news these days, just lots of naps, bottles and dirty diapers. Mom and Dad are here and boy have they been busy! Mom's been fixing meals and cleaning and Dad's been busy in the yard. It sure has been nice for me and Laura to not worry about that stuff while adjusting to our new Jack-driven schedule.
Fortunately, Jack's been taking things as they come. He's really not been very fussy. Whenever he's hungry he'll make some noises, but mostly he just opens his eyes and starts looking around hoping that someone will come feed him. He's started taking in 50 to 60ml at a time with some regularity so we're expecting some good weight gain at his next weigh-in. Once he gets to 4lb 14oz, he'll be half his daddy's birth weight!

umm, i can't see jack's outfit. haven't we talked about this? and when are you taking me flying??
don't think Jack can see his outfit either. Looks to me like the hat is still a bit big :)
